Service Description

Our Discovery Club for children aged 5–7 offers a calm, supportive and engaging introduction to our hub in a shorter, structured session designed with younger children in mind. Sessions run for up to 2 hours, allowing children to enjoy play-based exploration, creative activities, sensory experiences and supported social play in a safe, nurturing environment. Due to Ofsted regulations, sessions for children under 8 are limited in length. This ensures we remain fully compliant while still providing a high-quality, enriching experience tailored to younger age groups. Our trained team focuses on: Building confidence and independence Encouraging curiosity and exploration Supporting emotional regulation and social skills Creating a fun, welcoming first experience of the NFOS hub Perfect for little explorers who are big on curiosity (and maybe still need a snack break halfway through 🦉💚).

Cancellation Policy

Under 8s Discovery Club – Policy Acknowledgement The Under 8s Discovery Club is designed to provide a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for younger children. Sessions focus on child-led play, creativity, emotional wellbeing and positive social experiences. In line with regulatory requirements, children attending the Under 8s Discovery Club are only permitted to attend for a maximum of 2 hours per session. This limit is in place to ensure the wellbeing and safety of children and to remain compliant with Ofsted guidance. Due to the age and individual needs of children attending, we operate with clear policies around supervision, behaviour support, group structure and additional support requirements. In some cases, children may require an initial assessment or 1:1 support to safely access the group. Where this is identified, parents or carers will be informed and options discussed. By completing this form, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the Under 8s Discovery Club policies, including expectations around attendance duration, behaviour, supervision, support levels and parent communication. Our aim is to ensure every child feels safe, valued and supported to take part at their own pace.
