Canine Assisted Therapy
With George 🐾

IMG_3488.HEIC

Canine Therapy in the last several years has become more and more popular due to being highly effective. Study's show that being around a dog or other animal can trigger positive physiological changes including higher levels of serotonin, endorphins and oxytocin. Pet Therapy has been proven to reduce pain levels. Children hospitalized for cancer treatment have also experienced reduced levels of the stress hormone cortisol, due to spending time in animal-assisted therapy.  Dogs can also offer support in education, helping children to feel less anxious and more relaxed during classes. So who wants to meet George?!
